iFacialMocap facilitates the capturing of facial expressions within an iOS application and enables real-time communication with 3DCG software on personal computers. Users may export FBX files via email, while the PC-side software supports the importation of VRM models.

To export as FBX, users must engage REC mode and commence recording. Upon pressing the mail icon, a screen for selecting the version of FBX will be displayed. Subsequently, selecting OK saves the FBX file into the File folder and triggers the mailing process.

This app enables the creation of real-time facial animations that sync with Maya, Unity, and Blender. Furthermore, animations produced in real-time can be preserved through baking.

Users can load VRM avatars directly within the iOS app. Additionally, integration exists with VMagicMirror on PCs and VRM-associated applications such as Luppet and HANA_APP.

Proceed by creating up to 52 morph targets (BlendShape or ShapeKey) following specified naming conventions. Finally, initiate your 3DCG software to load the script/add-on and click on the connection button.

Please note that this app is exclusively compatible with models housing FaceID technology. Camera imagery and depth data are solely utilized for transmitting motion capture data to users' PCs - no data is retained within the iPhone itself. Access to the camera is mandatory for obtaining depth data through Apple's API.

This application solely functions within a local network environment for communication between iOS devices and PCs, ensuring data security from third-party entities.
